DANCING FISH WINES

We are what is known as a négociant (nay-ghos-see-an) winery. A centuries old French model of wine production that allows small family wineries such as ours to participate in the wider wine industry, elevate, craft and bottle unique wines that showcase some of the best of what a region’s wines can do and share it with the community and discerning lovers of wine.

We are extremely proud of each wine we pour, that is sourced and crafted for us in partnership with a diverse group of some of the best winemakers in Washington State. These partnerships allow us access to some of the best blocks of the best Vineyards from some of our favorite AVAs throughout the State where we're most excited to source fruit from. The result is clean, consistent quality and balance of the ultra-premium wines we’re able to offer, each with a unique story of origin, care and winemaking that we celebrate as we bring you some of the best of what Northwest wines can do, right here, to our beautiful vineyard and venue on South Whidbey.

We work closely with our partners on each wine we produce because we know that when you start with quality fruit and you're crafting small batch wines with seasoned wine makers, that means you can have minimal intervention in the process, which translates to cleaner wine, lower in sulfites and other additives, showing the beauty of the fruit and the many terriors of the Northwest and leaving you feeling better with each glass and even the next morning. Does that mean you won't get headache from drinking our wine? We can't promise that, but many who say they often do from other wines, find they don't from ours. Regardless, we do encourage everyone to enjoy our wine responsibly.

So come in for a tasting and learn more about the unique story of each wine, the vineyards they come from and the winemakers who guide their transformation into the wonderful wine in your glass.

And yes, we do also harvest, press and make wine from our 14 rows of picturesque vines we care for on the property.  The wine we make from our own vines is simply a celebration of what they’re able to produce. Usually making our estate blend of the three white varietals that grow well here, Madeline Angevine, Burmunk and Siegerrebe, affectionately labeled as our Salish Blanc, honoring the Coastal peoples who first lived on these lands of the Salish Sea basin and celebrated all the fruits and blessing of this region. These varietals thrive in this unique terroir and provide us with this beautiful wine to share and enjoy. It is a bright, refreshing and delightfully interesting expression of what our little estate vineyard can do. Keep an eye out for our limited seasonal release in Spring/Early Summer!
