OUR STORY

THE EGGE FAMILY
Passionate about wine, gathering and caring for people, Erin and Ross Egge are now living their dream with their two-year-old son Greyson, as the new owners of Dancing Fish Vineyards.

After years of living in Latin America where they met while working to support children and families, they moved back to the U.S in 2016 and made their home on Whidbey Island. Bringing years of experience in project management, communications, event planning, and organizational leadership, Erin and Ross are immensely grateful to continue the legacy of Dancing Fish Vineyards and proud to work with such a highly talented team.  They are thrilled to care for people around great wine and special occasions, and to support the local Whidbey Island community in new and exciting ways.

Erin and Ross are at Dancing Fish pretty much all the time, and love visitors. They invite you to stop by and enjoy a tasting or a glass with them.

THE FOUNDERS
Nancy and Brad Thompson retired in 2012 to focus on their shared passions of fine wines and entertaining. They purchased the Dancing Fish Vineyards property and spent the next few years restoring and extensively renovating the property, creating a five-star hospitality destination. Nancy and Brad share a love for hospitality and great wine, and particularly enjoyed ensuring their guest's experience was first-class fun. In June, 2022, they passed the torch to Erin and Ross Egge, but they will always be a vital part of the Dancing Fish family.
