A rare treat: Two Whidbey Island band leaders/singer-songwriters come together as a duo for a night of jumpin’ blues in the barn!
Joann Quintana and Steve DeHaven will blend guitars, voices and harmonica to bring you an evening of rockin’ blues music, from Chicago to Detroit, Texas, the Caribbean and Whidbey too!
Joann Quintana is a singer-songwriter, band leader and recording artist. She is known for her inspired songwriting and soulful vocals. She has recorded two full-length studio albums of original music, and her band has performed at local and regional venues, including MusselFest and the Oak Harbor Musical Festival.
Steve DeHaven is a singer-songwriter and leads the popular classic rock/blues band Mussel Flats, performing at Whidbey venues and festivals. Steve started playing guitar at the age of 14 and picked up harmonica at the age of 16. During his long career in the U.S. Air Force, he was able to continue to pursue music, performing with bands in Japan, Germany, the US Virgin Islands, California and Mississippi.
This event is by reservation only and a portion of the $20 admission fee will go to Whidbey Island Nourishes (WIN).
